Short Breaks Carers are ordinary people from all walks of life. Some are married, single, with partners, with or without children. What you need is plenty of understanding, common sense, flexibility, reliability and an interest in children.

You would need to be able to offer time, mostly in your own home. It could be at weekends, during the school holidays, overnight, during the day, in emergencies.  As long as you can make a regular commitment from a few hours a month, to an overnight stay or even a week will be valued.
